Sharing the prestige, Clark Freeport Zone ranks 8th, landing a slot on the elite list of freeport zones in the world, including The Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), the Dubai International Financial Centre in UAE and the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in China.

Amount the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) alloted for the 2013 National Greening Program (NGP). Environment Secretary Ramon Paje said that among the DENR’s key expenditure programs, the NGP will get the biggest allocation. This is a clear proof that the Aquino administration is laying down the necessary requisites to facilitate quicker and more efficient implementation of the NGP.

THIS WEEK IN HISTORY

 

On July 30, 1934, the Constitutional Convention, tasked with creating a charter for the Philippines, was convened. It was headed by Claro M. Recto. The Convention finished its work on February of the following year. The draft constitution was subsequently approved by the President of the United States and came into full force and effect after its ratification through a national plebiscite.
